One of the first thing you need to know is that the Disney Cruise Line doesn’t have a big fleet. There are only 4 ships in the Disney Cruise Line: Dream, Fantasy, Magic and Wonder. We chose to sail on Disney Wonder and this wasn’t our first time on a ship. We were my wife, our 5 year old daughter, my mother-in-law and me. We booked 2 cabins: one for my wife and me, and one for our daughter and my wife’s mother. We were lucky to receive two rooms that were close one to the other, therefore we could easily reach our daughter if we needed to. The rooms were spacious and had comfortable beds. The bathroom was sparkling clean and this surprised us a little.

We wanted to spend as much time as possible at the pool, but so did most of the other passengers. This only meant that our kid found other kids to play with, allowing us to relax more. The ship had several kids’ clubs and several of them were available late into the night. This was a blessing for most parents who wanted some alone time as well. We clearly didn’t need them, but Maria, our daughter, felt otherwise.

We especially liked the food we had in several restaurants. We had the possibility of trying out dishes we don’t normally eat, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. Most of the passengers were amazed by the food selection and this meant it wasn’t just our impression. Luckily none of has has food allergies, and we didn’t get any food poisoning either. If you have food sensibilities it is best to pay attention to the ingredients and to specify it to your waiter.

We only sailed for 1 week, but we got an unforgettable vacation, and we hope to go on a different Disney cruise sometimes soon!
